A Greater Call to Service: TDR Responds to Recent SCOTUS Rulings
WASHINGTON, D.C. - TDR Ideas, LLP, a community-based grassroots company committed to assisting service-driven organizations, is deeply concerned about the recent Supreme Court ruling in the case of Court 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis. We believe this ruling is unconstitutional and will have significant adverse effects, particularly on marginalized communities.
The ruling, which upholds the ability of businesses that provide "expressive content" to deny services based on religious beliefs, undermines the fundamental principles of equality, fairness, and justice. The decision enables discrimination, and in this era of political theater, it will be pushed further to meet the climate's demand for radical and performative partisanship.
At TDR, we firmly believe in the importance of inclusivity and diversity. We recognize the inherent dignity that every individual, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs, deserves. Globally, marginalized communities, including the LGBTQ+ community, Black people, people of color, and religious minorities, have long experienced discrimination and violence. This ruling continues a history of injustices. We are beyond saddened by the ruling and urge individuals to get informed and organized.
TDR Ideas will continue to advocate for inclusivity, equality, and justice in all aspects of society. We are dedicated to assisting service-driven organizations to become more efficient, effective, innovative, and sustainable in ways that uphold these core values. We believe working together can create a more equitable and inclusive future for all. In addition to holding space for servant-leaders, we've included our free Early Impact Startup Guide.
